An earthquake rattled residents near Helena, Oklahoma, Thursday morning.

According to the Oklahoma Geological Survey, a 3.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 6:50 a.m.

Its epicenter was located eight miles northeast of Helena, 21 miles northwest of Enid, 58 miles west of Ponca City, and 86 miles north, northwest of Oklahoma City, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It was about three miles deep.

As of 7:30 a.m., no injuries or damage have been reported.
