TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa police investigators are still looking for a hit-and-run driver that killed a woman trying to cross an intersection in the Kendall-Whittier neighborhood.

More than a month ago, police say a white minivan hit Angela Young.

Friends and family put up a memorial for Young at Third and Lewis and are hoping to have a balloon release at the intersection to remember their loved one.

Police say tips are still coming in, but so far nothing has been substantial enough to identify the driver.

Investigators are now using enhanced video technology to help find the driver.

"I've lost a sister that I'll never see again," Sheila Cawthorne said.

Cawthorne and Young's daughter are looking for closure.

"I can't really describe what I feel from one day to the next," Monique Young said. "Some days I'm happy, some days I'm sad we don't sleep, one minute I'm laughing, one minute I'm crying. We don't sleep."

Police say a hit-and-run driver ran over Angela Young as she crossed the street in the crosswalk at Third and Lewis.

Young died from her injuries and investigators with the Tulsa Police Department's Traffic Division pulled surveillance video from a nearby clinic to find the driver.

"We've got the video," TPD Officer Ian Simmons said. "We're looking for that extra side which, would be the driver of the vehicle, to at least come forward and talk to us about what happened. "It would appear the driver would have to know that something happened, hit something and didn't stop."

Investigators used Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation technology to get a better picture of the minivan.

Police say because of the enhanced video, they know the white minivan has no special decorative trim, striping or molding on the doors, so it should be easier to identify.

With new information and the chance to share Young's story, family members are pleading for any information.

"We just want this person found," Monique Young said. "You have to be really heartless to run over someone, not only once, but twice like they're just a bump in the road, words can't express it."

"If it was an accident, we can understand that, but for you to keep going, it's just painful. That means you have no heart, and right now we don't have any understanding," Cawthorne said.

Police ask if you have any information, call Crimestoppers at 918-596-COPS.
