Trial Of OKC Teacher Charged With Rape Set To Start Monday

The trial for a former metro high school teacher and coach charged with second-degree rape is scheduled to begin on Monday.

Tyrone Nash was charged back in 2011 with having sex with a 16-year-old student at Western Heights.

Even though the sex was consensual, there is no consent in Oklahoma when it comes to teachers and students. 

Nash argued that law because he said the girl was not one of his students.
