Tulsa Police Looking For Family Dollar Purse Thief

Police say a woman at the Family Dollar at 305 East Pine Place was paying for items at the counter when surveillance video shows she took a purse that had been mistakenly left by a customer.

The Tulsa Police Department is looking for a woman they say took a purse from a store customer.

Police say on February 4th, just after 7:00 p.m., a woman at the Family Dollar at 305 East Pine Place was paying for items at the counter when surveillance video shows she took a purse that had been mistakenly left by a customer.

They say they customer didn't realize she had left the purse until she returned to her home. They say she went back to the store after realizing, but the store was closed.

Police say when she went back the next morning to look, the manager and customer watched video showing the suspect taking the purse.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
