Storms Producing Heavy Rain, Lightning And Gusty Winds Move Into Eastern Oklahoma

TULSA, Oklahoma -

A line of thunderstorms moved out of central Oklahoma into eastern Oklahoma Thursday afternoon. 

News On 6 meteorologist Dick Faurot said the storms are producing brief heavy rains, lightning, gusty winds and pea-size hail as they move east.

The line of storms are ahead of a cold front moving through the Oklahoma.

Faurot says the front will move into eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas Thursday afternoon.
