BAXTER SPRINGS, Kansas -

A woman snapped a photo of the tornado that hit Baxter Springs, Kansas on Sunday as it passed just a few hundred feet from her.

Bonnie Buss says she was getting ready to head west out of Baxter Springs on Highway 166 when she took the photo.

She was looking south down East Avenue when she took a picture of the tornado. It had just crossed East Avenue as it headed northeast a block south of the 1st United Methodist Church.

Video of the tornado's path shot by Osage SkyNews 6 shows that it passed about 200 feet from the church and about 400 feet from Buss as she took the photo.
