OKC Police Arrest Woman Accused In Hit And Run Accident, DUI

Oklahoma City police arrest a woman accused in a hit and run accident while driving drunk in northwest OKC.

Charity Slaughter, 27, faces several charges including driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.

According to police, Slaughter's blood alcohol level was over the legal limit when she allegedly hit a 44-year-old man and drove away. It happened Saturday night at N.W. 10th Street and Council Road.

The victim was taken to a local hospital. His condition is unknown.
