Motorcyclist Killed Along I-44 In NE OKC

A motorcyclist is killed along I-44 near in northeast Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

Around 11 a.m., a motorcyclist traveling eastbound I-44 with a group of other riders lost control for an unknown reason and crashed through the barrier into the westbound lanes near Lincoln Boulevard. The driver passed away at the scene.

The inside westbound lane of I-44 was closed while crews cleared the scene. All lanes are now open.

The victim's name hasn't been released.
