3.8 Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Near Chandler

A 3.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Chandler, Oklahoma, early Thursday morning, according to the Oklahoma Geological Survey.

This earthquake was recorded at 5:04 a.m. Thursday. Its epicenter was located eight miles north, northwest of Chandler, 21 miles south, southeast of Stillwater, 27 miles east of Guthrie, and 40 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.

It was about three miles deep.
