Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies arrested 16 people during a DUI crackdown operation this Cinco De Mayo weekend.
According to the Sheriff's office, on Saturday, May 3, deputies conducted a specialized traffic enforcement operation which consisted of DUI patrols. A total of 12 deputies participated in the enforcement and they made 16 arrests.
Ten people were arrested for DUI, two arrested for driving under suspension, one arrested for possession of marijuana, one arrested for possession of cocaine, one arrested on a felony warrant, and another one arrested on a misdemeanor warrant.
Deputies also wrote 16 tickets for minor offenses. A total of 13 vehicles were impounded.
