The state Department of Education says school across the state will get the results by this Friday.

Third graders who do not pass may be required to complete a summer reading program and may not be allowed to move on to fourth grade.

State leaders are anticipating a lot of questions from parents, so they have set up a hotline. Beginning next Monday, anyone with questions should call 405-521-3774.

A separate hotline has been set up for teachers.
