A 4th grade teacher from Westville, Oklahoma made a music video to help her students learn about prime numbers.

Alishia Morris wrote her own lyrics to the tune of Katy Perry's song "Roar". She then enlisted the help of her students to put together a music video.

They filmed only during indoor recess days and Morris edited the video during her planning period or on weekends, so it took three months to complete.

Watch the video here.

She posted the video on YouTube and also organized a showing of the video in the school's auditorium at the end of last month.

The video features lines like this: "I used to hate the time I spent in math, scared that I'd mess up and make an F. So I sat quietly, never excitedly, until the teacher sang, 'This is a prime. It has two factors, 1 and then itself.'"

It's clear in the video that the kids loved being a part of it, but also that they know prime numbers.
