Enid Man Charged With Possessing, Distributing Child Porn

An Enid man was arrested Friday afternoon, accused of possessing and distributing child pornography.

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) arrested 39-year-old Tim Hickenbottom at a home in the 500 block of N. 14^th St., Friday afternoon.

The Enid Police Department served a search warrant at the home. They say Hickenbottom did not live at that residence, but that he used the internet there.

Hickenbottom turned over a computer from an apartment at 2700 N. Van Buren and on it investigators discovered evidence of the crime. He is charged with Possession of Child Pornography, Distribution of Child Pornography and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act. 

Hickenbottom admitted that he downloaded the child pornography and that he was aware it was on his computer. He is being held without bond at the Garfield County Detention Facility.
