The United States Geological Survey reported a 3.1 magnitude earthquake in Noble County Saturday morning.
At 5:47 a.m. Saturday, a quake was recorded .6 miles southeast of Perry, 16 miles northwest of Stillwater, at a depth of over two miles.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
