A small earthquake rumbled near Stillwater, Saturday afternoon.

The quake was measured as a 3.3 on the Richter scale and struck just before 4 p.m.

The epicenter of the quake was located one mile west northwest of Stillwater, or about 50 miles northeast of the Oklahoma City metro, at a depth of about two miles.

No damage or injuries have been reported with either earthquake.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
