TULSA, Oklahoma -

A group working to raise money for animal rescue organizations including Tulsa Animal Welfare was vandalized overnight at the Blue Dome Festival.

Sherry Stinson said they arrived Sunday morning to find their tent cut and some artwork missing. Stinson is a professional photographer who volunteers her time at the Tulsa shelter to take professional photos of the dogs up for adoption.

Two of her prints valued at $200 each were stolen.

"We're trying to do something good here, and it's not like artists make a whole lot of money anyway," said Stinson. "They ripped a lot of it down and stole two of them."

A portion of the proceeds raised at the festival will go to rescue agencies, and the group is also advertising an upcoming event that will benefit TAW and Epic's Pit Bull Rescue.

"Pasties 4 Paws" is a two-day burlesque show planned for September 26 and 27 at Osage Casino's Event Center. Stinson is teaming with the ladies of Pink Peacock Productions for the event.

Those women, Lollie Moore, Brie Coquette Burlyq and Mia Mosa, are helping her man the booth at the Blue Dome and are producing "Pasties 4 Paws."

"The daytime will be kid friendly with a car show, rescue vendors and other events," Stinson said. "The evening will be for the adults with headliners from all over the country."

Lollie Moore said it will be the largest burlesque show Oklahoma has ever seen. Animals that are available for adoption with take to the stage with performers.

"Pretty girls and pups - what else could you need," Moore said.

Stinson has set a goal for fundraising at the two-day show at $20,000.

"The bills for getting these dogs ready for adoption can be hundreds of dollars," she said. "I think we can really save a whole lot of lives."

The Pasties 4 Paws tent is at 3rd and Elgin. The Blue Dome Arts Festival runs through late Sunday afternoon.
