WAGONER COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Wagoner County Deputies responded to a call Tuesday of a 15-foot snake in the back yard of a Toppers-area home.

They say the deputy identified the snake as a Burmese python.

The deputy was able to capture the snake and while trying to find a place for it in local shelters, one Wagoner County Investigator remembered a person in the area with an exotic snake.

Deputies made contact with the owner and returned the snake.
