Broken Arrow Searches For New Fire Chief

The City of Broken Arrow is actively searching for a fire chief, according the city's website.

The last fire chief resigned in March 2013 after two years on the job. Jeff VanDolah reportedly took a job in the private sector.

According to the job listing, the ideal candidate will have at least six years of fire manager experience and be able to direct 156 employees over six stations and operate a budget of $15.2 million per fiscal year.

The department provides fire suppression, prevention and emergency medical service.
