TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa Police say four people are in custody after they tried to shoplift at Walgreens. It started at the Walgreens at 51st and Sheridan and ended not far away at 61st and Pittsburgh - after a pursuit.

A police chase ended in a backyard about a mile away.

Police say the suspects entered the Walgreens and filled hand baskets full of goods without the means to pay for them. Police say they worked together to take produce, electronics and personal care items.

One of the men forced open a locked case and took a product, according to police.

Officers arrested one of the men who stayed behind at the Walgreens. That man was identified as Brian Hall. They got a good description of the suspects' pickup and spotted it at 61st and Yale.

Two passengers bailed from the truck and were arrested. Police say the woman, April Wright, was found hiding in some bushes.

Finally police say the driver stopped in someone's backyard, very close to a gas meter. The driver was taken into custody as well.

The suspects have been identified as Shane Rider, Brian Hall, Michael Sanders and April Wright. Police say Rider was driving the car.

They say no pedestrians were ever in danger. Officers learned the pickup truck the four were using had been stolen.

One of the owners of the stolen truck, Hulda Little, said her husband was out cleaning the truck last Friday when a man came up to him in a panic. The man told Tom Little there was an emergency, someone hurt, and Tom walked away from the truck.

"Once he got to a certain point, that guy headed for his truck and then drove it away," Hulda said.

After being tricked by the thief, Tom Little was without his work truck, and they didn't know if they'd ever see it again.

"We're relieved," Hulda said. "We thought it would at least take about two weeks, but it didn't. It happened really quick, and we appreciate the police for doing that for us."

Rider was booked on several complaints including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, eluding, resisting arrest, driving under suspension and possession of burglary tools. He is a convicted felon, according to court records.

Both April Wright and Michael Sanders had warrants out for their arrest.
