Silver Alert Canceled For Tulsa Man

TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa Police Department has canceled a Silver Alert for a missing man diagnosed with dementia.

Police said William Newman, 74, was located in the 4600 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard Tuesday evening.

Officers said Newman had called family in another state and they directed police to his location in Tulsa.

Police said Newman was found in good health and returned to his family.

Newman was last seen Monday night in near the Tulsa Country Club.
