The National Weather Service has extended a Flash Flood Watch for southeast Kansas and eastern Oklahoma until Monday evening.

The watch includes Chautauqua and Montgomery counties in southeast Kansas and Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington counties in Oklahoma.

Flash Flood Watch information

Early Saturday, a line of storms moved through eastern Oklahoma producing heavy rain and gusty winds.  There have been no reports of significant damage and flooding problems.

The News On 6 WARN team says multiple rounds of showers and some thunderstorms producing heavy rain at times will be likely all weekend.

Rainfall amounts of three to five inches are expected. That rain will likely lead to runoff and flash flooding problems across the area.

Track the showers and thunderstorms as they move into eastern Oklahoma with NewsOn6.com's Interactive Radar.
