TULSA, Oklahoma -

Alex Eppler was crowned Miss Oklahoma 2014 Saturday night in Tulsa. Eppler entered the scholarship pageant as Miss Enid.

First runner-up was Miss Okmulgee County Georgia Frazier. Sarah Klein, Miss Tulsa, is the second runner-up. The Miss Oklahoma pageant is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Tulsa and provides over $2 million in scholarships to contestants each year.

Eppler's cause is Care: Random Acts of Kindness, and her talent is dance.

The pageant was held at the Mabee Center on the ORU campus.
