TULSA, Oklahoma -

A flash flood watch is in effect for portions of Oklahoma and Arkansas through Monday evening. The National Weather Service in Tulsa says multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms producing periods of heavy rainfall are likely to move through the area until that time.

"Rain totals have exceeded 4 inches in parts of Green Country," News On 6 meteorologist Mike Grogan said. "We might be able to add another inch to these totals with the final wave of potentially heavy rain on Monday. This will swing a cold front past our area and start the change to drier, warmer weather."
