ROGERS COUNTY, Oklahoma -

The Rogers County Sheriff's office welcomed some new members Wednesday night, and they will work on a strictly volunteer basis.

A total of 11 new reserve officers got their badges Wednesday. Each one of the men and women spent four months training for the job and will help with anything from prisoner transport to crowd security.

The officers are not paid and many have day jobs in fields like education and business.

The group, along with others from across the region, will have their official graduation on Saturday.
