CHICAGO, June 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Teachers Hall of Fame (NTHF) this week inducted five educators into the prestigious Class of 2014, cementing their mark of excellence in the field of education. digedu is partnering with NTHF for a second consecutive year by providing its inductees and finalists with its Learning EngineTM instructional platform.
It was this partnership in 2013 that allowed past NTHF inductees to aid in the creation of digedu's classroom-ready lessons; they helped to build the engaging, standards-aligned lessons that are provided on the Learning Engine. The National Teachers Hall of Fame recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of exceptional career teachers, and utilizes their skills and experiences to elevate teacher quality and student learning through integrated programming. Working with digedu last year is one of the ways in which these educators drive excellence in education across the United States.
digedu works with schools to seamlessly incorporate technology into the classroom to improve instructional effectiveness, promote personalized learning, and enable data-informed decision-making. 2014 inductees and finalists will have access to the Learning Engine, further enabling them to create meaningful digital learning experiences for their students.
"We are thrilled to continue our partnership with The National Teachers Hall of Fame. Our team is inspired by these educators' commitment and passion for supporting their students in and outside of the classroom," said Matt Tullman, President of digedu. "It is an honor to work with the inductees and finalists, and we are excited to see how they will use digedu to engage their students and drive achievement in their classrooms."
Carol Strickland, Executive Director of the NTHF added, "Our continued partnership with digedu is exciting, as we recognize that in today's educational environment, meaningful technology use is one of the drivers of excellence in the classroom."
