Another hot and muggy weekend is here, and we'll have some chances for thunderstorms through Sunday afternoon.
Today, we'll start with a slight chance of showers and storms in western Oklahoma. Any storms that develop could become severe, posing a threat for large hail and damaging wind. A tornado or two can't be ruled out, but it's not likely.
Overnight, a cold front will drop into northern Oklahoma, bringing a slightly higher chance for some rain and storms. We may see storms here in OKC as well.
The front will still be around on Father's Day, and it's position will determine where storms develop Sunday afternoon. The place with the best chance of seeing storms is northeastern and north-central Oklahoma. Again, any storms that develop could be strong to severe.
Most folks will stay dry this weekend and just have to contend with lower 90s, strong south winds and those pesky high humidity values.
