An earthquake was recorded Wednesday morning near Langston, Oklahoma. According to the Oklahoma Geological Survey, a 3.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 9:08 a.m.
Its epicenter was located four miles east, northeast of Langston, 11 miles southwest of Stillwater, 14 miles east, northeast of Guthrie, and 39 miles north, northeast of Oklahoma City, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
It was about three miles deep.
A 4.1 magnitude earthquake shook awake many residents in the Oklahoma City metro area at 5:53 a.m. Wednesday.
