Metro Residents Without Power After Monday's Storm

Thousands of metro residents are experiencing power outages after heavy rain moved through the metro early Monday morning.

As of 5 a.m., OG&E reported a total of 3,831 residents without power, including the following:

  • Midwest City - 225
  • Nichols Hills - 1,127
  • Norman - 253
  • Oklahoma City North - 1,722
  • Oklahoma City South Central - 383
  • Oklahoma City West - 55
  • Yukon - 66

According to OG&E officials, two circuits went out, causing the majority of the outages.

They said crews are out working, but it is unknown when all power will be restored.
