Two University of Tulsa women golfers, junior Antonia Von Wnuck and incoming freshman Sana Tufail, will participate at the British Ladies Amateur Golf Championship, June 24-28, at The Royal St. George's Golf Club in Sandwich Kent, England.

The British Ladies Amateur Championship opens with two rounds of stroke play qualifying. The Top 64 players advance to match play, with an 18-hole championship final.

Von Wnuck, from Frankfort, Germany, has placed among the top-25 in nine of 20 career tournaments for the Golden Hurricane. She had a team-best 75.5 stroke average in 29 rounds this past season, while turning in top-5 performances at the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational (3rd place) and the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic (5th place).

Tufail, from Abu Dhabi, has won the Emirates Golf Federation Ladies Order of Merit the past two seasons. She won 11 junior opens before shifting her focus on to the ladies division and, since 2011, Tufail has won a staggering 29 titles in the higher division. During that period, Tufail has played just 33 Order of Merit events, making for an almost unheard of winning percentage of 88.

Along with the United States Women's Amateur Golf Championship, the British Ladies Amateur is considered the highest honor in women's amateur golf.
