More Earthquakes Reported In Oklahoma Tuesday

Several more earthquakes rocked parts of Oklahoma on Tuesday.

A 3.0 magnitude quake struck just after 9 a.m., 15 miles south, southeast of Medford, or about 77 miles north of the Oklahoma City metro area.

The epicenter of the quake was recorded at a depth of approximately three miles.

At 11:57 a.m., another 3.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded seven miles northwest of Blackwell. Its epicenter was about 97 miles north of Oklahoma City. It was about three miles deep.

A second 3.0 magnitude quake was recorded near Medford at approximately 12:40 p.m. This quake struck four miles northeast of town, at a depth of three miles.

No damage or injuries have been reported with any of Tuesday's earthquakes.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
