Clouds are breaking up and giving way to plenty of sunshine Friday afternoon. Highs will reach into the upper 80s and lower 90s, but with the humidity around it will feel like the middle to upper 90s.

A few strong to severe t-storms will likely develop across the eastern panhandle, and these could drift into western Oklahoma by the evening hours.

The biggest threat out of these t-storms would be hail up two inches in diameter and winds to 65mph. These t-storms will slowly move east through the evening across western Oklahoma and will likely start to weaken.

Here in Oklahoma City, we're looking at dry conditions through the evening. Overnight, one or two of those storms could stay together to give a shower or rumble of thunder.

On Saturday, a weak front moves in from the northwest giving us better chances of rain and storms. The best chance of storms will be from mid-afternoon through the evening hours with plenty of heat and humidity around.

Some of the t-storms could be severe with large hail and damaging winds being the main threat. The t-storms will be slow movers so some heavy rainfall could be possible in areas producing flash flooding.

Now this will not be a washout as storms will be scattered about so don't cancel those plans just yet. Just make sure you have a contingency plan and are weather aware through the day.

Rain chances diminish as we head into our Sunday with the heat and humidity sticking around.
