Former Oklahoma State wrestling standouts Chris Perry and Tyler Caldwell are set to compete in freestyle at the University Worlds Championship in Pecs, Hungary.

Men's freestyle competition kicks off the event on July 8-9, and Greco-Roman and women's freestyle competition will close out the weekend.

Perry, the No. 3 man for the United States senior national team, will compete at 86 kg/189 pounds, and Caldwell will represent the U.S. at 74 kg/163 pounds.

In late May, Perry won the University Nationals title, defeating Enock Francois in a best-of-three championship series, while Caldwell produced a runner-up finish at the event.

Perry was a two-time NCAA individual champion and three-time All-American for the Cowboys. Caldwell finished his college career a four-time All-American and a two-time NCAA finalist.
