Many areas reached well over 100° today across Oklahoma, and places that didn't, had a heat index that reached 100 to 105°.

It's going to stay hot for the next several days, but a weak cold front is headed our way and will bring some relief to parts of Oklahoma. In the meantime, remember to take precautions to protect yourself from the heat, and remember your pets.

Tonight will be another warm and muggy night with lows in the mid-70s and a south breeze. That cold front will move into northern Oklahoma tonight and could spark up a few showers and storms, but not everyone will see rain.

Tuesday will still be a hot and humid day, but it will be slightly cooler in northern Oklahoma behind the cold front. Highs will be in the 90s and lower 100s. There will be a slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms along and ahead of the cold front as it pushes to the south.

Winds will change out to be out of the north behind the front and will bring in some slightly drier air, but it is still going to be hot. This is not a springtime cold front, but it will feel a little better in northern Oklahoma.
