ARLINGTON, Va., July 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Fors Marsh Group LLC (FMG), a DC-area research and consulting firm, welcomes three new employees to support our expanding federal health research team. Dr. Lenette Golding joins as Health Communication Project Leader, Scott Woosley as Healthcare Consultant, and Dr. David Keating will support the communication research team as a Research Associate.

"Over the past few years, Fors Marsh Group has proactively grown our health communication research offering and continue to build a very strong team to support our growing client-base," said Ben Garthwaite, senior vice president. "With the addition of Lenette, Scott, and David, we are better suited to continue expanding this area of our business and delivering the type of health consulting and research our current and future clients need. Each of them brings impressive credentials and unique perspective to our firm."

  • Dr. Lenette Golding will serve as one of FMG's Health Communication Project Leaders and brings over 17 of years of programmatic, quantitative/qualitative research, and teaching experience in public health and communication. Prior to joining FMG, she served as the senior technical advisor in social and behavior change and advocacy for food and nutrition security projects at CARE. Her research and interests span sectors such as health communication, social psychology, education, human rights, poverty alleviation, and sustainable development. She is especially interested in the role that communication plays in addressing the challenges for improved health conditions around the world, particularly among marginalized populations.
  • Scott Woosley, MSM, serves as FMG's primary resource for building and extending relationships with federal healthcare agencies and other key health industry groups. Prior to joining FMG, Scott served as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the U.S. Navy, completing over 20 years of military service. His service spanned a broad range of healthcare areas including emergency management, preventive medicine, forward deployed operational medicine, disease surveillance, transportation logistics, information systems, humanitarian assistance, mission planning, and medical intelligence. Scott holds a Master of Science in Management in Manpower Systems and Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Bachelor of Health Science in Healthcare Management from Trident University.
  • Dr. David Keating joins FMG's communication research team and brings several years of experience working on projects focusing on behavioral health. Prior to joining FMG, Dave's research examined parental influence of adolescent children's health-related behaviors and the beneficial outcomes associated with participation in online support communities. This work has been presented at professional conferences and featured in several academic journals. In addition, Dave recently worked as a consultant for the Strive for a Safer Drive (S4SD) program in Michigan; S4SD is an ongoing project that seeks to reduce risky driving behaviors among teens and is funded and supported by Ford Motor Company Fund, AAA Michigan, and the Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning.

In addition to the continued expansion of our health research offerings, FMG has been busy supporting a number of new clients and initiatives across the public sector including  multiple new projects with the Food and Drug Administration, Federal Voting Assistance Program, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Veterans Affairs, and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
