A months long investigation leads police to what they’re calling, a criminal empire. They said the suspects used Oklahoma bars to expand their illegal drug business.

News 9 went through more than 40 pages of court documents of this undercover investigation; it involved cocaine and a secret password to get them.

According to court documents, the alleged drug scheme happened at two different bars along Newcastle Road. Some customers would walk up to the bar to order a beer at Chihuahua’s Bar. The bartender would say “uno” and if the customer wanted drugs, they would slip the bartender $20 dollars in exchange for cocaine.

Oklahoma City police received a tip that Martin Saucedo was the source of the cocaine sold at Chihuahua’s and Last Chance Bar. Court documents cited, “both bars reportedly sold $20 dollars bags of cocaine to primarily Hispanic customers.” Police said Saucedo and his wife; Kandi Landeros were behind the scheme.

News 9 talked with Saucedo’s aunt. She denied drugs were found inside her home. She also made a phone call to Landeros. She denied that drugs were being sold at her bars.

“There was no ice found on us,” said Landeros. “There were no drugs found in the bar.”

Three people were arrested in this case, including Landeros and her husband. Landeros said the third suspect has since been deported. All three suspects are facing several drug related drugs.
