Another cool day is expected across eastern Oklahoma Wednesday. News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says this cooler weather will remain in place into the weekend.

He says the official high in Tulsa on Tuesday was 79 degrees. The normal high for July 15th is 93.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for SE Oklahoma including Haskell, Hughes, Latimer, LeFlore and Pittsburg counties from Thursday morning until Friday afternoon.

Crone says the WARN team is tracking rain showers moving across western and central Oklahoma Wednesday. While some of those showers could move into eastern Oklahoma, the main threat for soaking rain is late Wednesday and into Thursday.

Crone says the forecast is calling for heavy rainfall across south central and southeastern Oklahoma on Thursday. He says most of the heavier rain should remain south of I-40.

Tulsa's forecast high on Wednesday is expected near 78 degrees with even cooler weather on Thursday with a high of just 71 degrees.

Crone says the rainy weather will exit the state by Friday as warmer air returns to Oklahoma.
