Plane tickets are about to get more expensive. Fees will be tacked on to tickets starting Monday. This time it's the TSA.

The September 11 Security Fee will be increased more than 100 percent starting Monday. The fee partially helps fund the TSA.

Here's how it affects you. Any tickets bought before July 21 won't be subject to the higher fees. There are two big changes. Currently there's a takeoff and landing fee priced at $2.50, now it will cost $5.60.

Expect the cost of most nonstop, roundtrip flights to increase to $6. And for one-stop flights, the fees will be up $1.20 to $11.20.

The rise in rates is estimated to raise $12.6 billion over ten years. And it's the first rate hike since its creation in 2002.

The new fees will be worked into the price airlines advertise on their websites.
