TULSA, Oklahoma -

A Tulsa man is behind bars after pulling out a gun and firing several shots during an argument.

Roshawn Banks was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on six complaints of shooting with intent to kill.

According to police, Banks got into an argument with some people near 51st Street North and Rockford around 10:15 Sunday night.

Banks, 20, reportedly admitted to police he fired the shots but only did so because someone was shooting at him. Police did not find evidence to support that claim.

He's being held on $450,000 bond.
