One more hot day today, then we get to watch the thermometer drop!
The cold front moves in this afternoon, bringing "less hot" temperatures to northern Oklahoma and north winds at 10 to 20 mph. Southern Oklahoma is still going to cook with more 100s likely.
The best opportunity for scattered showers and storms will be in northern Oklahoma this afternoon. Don't be surprised to see one or two strong to severe storms. A few storms are also possible in central Oklahoma.
Temps stay warm for Monday and Tuesday but will still be well below normal. Highs drop back into the 70s for the last two days of July. Rain chances go way up for those two days as well. One to three inches of rain will be likely across the state over that two-day period.
We'll slowly warm back up to start August, but only into the mid 80s.
