National Ministry Gives Voice Of Love, Hope To Those With Disabilities

A national ministry is giving a voice of love and hope to those with disabilities. Champions Specials Ministries hosts day camps for children and young adults who have special needs.

Allison Gromer with Champions Special Ministry, said, “We are a voice for those with disabilities. We offer an amazing experience for children and young adults with special needs to have a camp experience.”

“The camp kids are awesome. It's so fun having them come each day, and seeing them walk in the red carpet, and all their faces light up and smile, and then just to see you as your coach is an awesome thing. Like, I love building relationships with campers, it's so fun,” said volunteer Sarah Peyton Ellerman.

Champions Special Ministries is based out of Overland Park, Kansas.
