OKC Energy FC forward Kyle Greig was named USL PRO Player of the Week for Week 19 after a stellar pair of matches. Greig recorded three goals and an assist as the Energy claimed four points from road games against Harrisburg and Dayton.

Greig helped OKC earn a point last Wednesday in a 3-3 draw against the City Islanders. After falling into a two-goal deficit, in the opening half-hour, Greig scored twice to put his side ahead before the halftime break, but Energy FC’s hopes of victory were dashed when fellow Team of the Week selection Pedro Ribeiro of Harrisburg scored his second goal of the game with six minutes to play to level the score.

Greig’s goal and assist on Saturday against the Dutch Lions would lead to victory, however. The former Wilmington Hammerheads forward opened the scoring three minutes before the halftime break in Dayton, and then provided the assist for Paul Wyatt’s goal early in the second half as Energy FC moved into seventh place in the league standings.

Energy FC is back at home on August 2 against the Orange County Blues.
