The United States Geological Survey reported a 3.2 magnitude earthquake in Garfield County, Thursday evening.
At 6:28 p.m. Thursday, a quake was recorded 17 miles northeast of Enid and 31 miles west, southwest of Ponca City, at a depth of less than one mile.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
