Accused Chickasha Child Predator Arrested Following Tip

We’re learning more about a Chickasha man investigators say had more than 3,000 images of child porn on his computer. 

Larry Thompson, 59, was arrested Wednesday after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

?Oklahoma’s Sex Offender Registry shows Thompson spent several years in prison after he was charged with Sodomy, Indecent Liberties with a Child and Rape in 1991. 

“Most criminals rationalize what they do,” said Grady County Sheriff Jim Weir. “Even though they plead guilty, they really don’t think they’ve done anything wrong.” 

Thompson is in the Grady County Jail, where he is waiting to be arraigned by a judge.
