Driver Runs Red Light, Hits Tulsa Motorcyclist

Tulsa Police responded to a collision between a motorcycle and car at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday in midtown. Police say a man was driving northbound on Utica in the 1300 block when he ran a red light and hit the motorcycle.

The biker, who was going westbound on 13th Street, was thrown up onto the car, cracking its windshield.

Police cited the driver of the car for failing to yield. The motorcyclist was checked out at the scene but suffered only minor scrapes and did not have to go to the hospital.
