Tulsa Public School teachers are touring the Port of Catoosa as part of Tulsa's Road Trip for Teachers. About 65 high school and middle school teachers are learning manufacturing, touring several businesses at the Port of Catoosa.

The group is visiting Tristar Glass, Linde Processing Plants and Harsco Industrial Air X-Changers.

They say touring them gives them a better understanding of the manufacturing industry so they can better help students who want to work in manufacturing when they graduate.

They say touring the businesses also helps them see the economic impact of the industry. The tours were organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Tulsa Public Schools.

The tours run through Friday afternoon.
