Tulsa Destroys Silver Stars To Keep Playoff Hopes Alive

Posted: Updated:

Odyssey Sims scored 22 points to help the Tulsa Shock keep alive their playoff hopes with a 79-62 victory over the San Antonio Stars on Friday night. The victory was Tulsa's 12th this season - the most since the team moved from Detroit in 2010.

Tulsa is one game behind San Antonio (13-18) for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Glory Johnson had 14 points and 11 rebounds to tie a Shock franchise record for most double-doubles in a season with 17 previously set by Cheryl Ford in 2006.

Courtney Paris also had a double-double, her 12th, with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Skylar Diggins scored 14 points.

Sims suffered an apparent shoulder injury with 1:49 to play when she landed hard on her left shoulder at midcourt.

San Antonio (13-18) had three players in double figures led by Becky Hammon with 16.
