Green Country residents can expect a muggy and hot Sunday with the chance of storms once again in the forecast. There are several opportunities for rain, starting in the morning, according to WARN Team Meteorologist Michael Grogan.
"After a midday lull, afternoon and evening storms are possible," Grogan said in his weather blog.
"A few of those storms could have locally damaging winds and hail."

While the severe weather threat is low, Grogan recommends keeping "an eye to the sky" later in the day. When cloud cover clears throughout the day, the heat will rise and humidity will increase risks of overheating.
There is some relief ahead with a cooler, dry air mass settling in Monday night. Tuesday and Wednesday will have a north breeze with below normal highs.
