Green Country residents got a helping hand Saturday from the Convoy of Hope. The faith-based charity group offered more than $1 million in free goods and services to people in need at the Creek County Fairgrounds.

The free event offered thousands of people and their families opportunities they might not otherwise have gotten -- like groceries, clothing, haircuts and dental services -- and they did it all in one place.
