FBI Seeks Suspect In Robbery Of Warr Acres Bank

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking for a suspect who robbed a bank in Warr Acres, Oklahoma, Tuesday afternoon.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking for a suspect who robbed a bank in Warr Acres, Oklahoma, Tuesday afternoon.

According to the FBI, at about 4:55 p.m., the suspect, whose gender is unclear, walked into the Bank of the West at 5757 N.W. Expressway, and gave a demand note to a teller.

The suspect implied that he or she had a gun. However, authorities said no weapon was ever seen. The teller complied and the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

According to the FBI, the suspect was last seen going westbound on N.W. Expressway in a pewter colored, early 2000 model, 4-door Lexus. The car was driven by another unidentified suspect.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The FBI released the following description of the suspect:

Black male or possibly female with a light complexion and long dreadlocks, mid 30’s, 5’6”, heavy build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, and dark sunglasses.

The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
