The victim of an armed robbery doesn't need surveillance video to recall what the suspect looks like, but she certainly hopes it will help police find him.

"His face was so crystal clear at that moment," said Doren, who gave us her first name, but as a precaution, asked us to keep the rest of her identity confidential. "I just don't want anybody he knows to come after me," she said.

She explained the horrifying moments of starring down the barrel of a gun.

"Now, I'm jumpy at everything," Doren said since the incident on August 13, she has been more alert in the parking lot of a business complex at 6218 Northwest Expressway.

During her lunch break, she made a phone call. In the middle of the conversation, she was interrupted by the suspect tapping her on the shoulder.

Doren said she froze when he asked how much money was in her purse.

"I thought that was really weird, cause if you are going to rob somebody you're just going to take it and run anyways," Doren said.

That's exactly how it panned out.

"I really thought he was going to shoot me whether I gave him the money or not," Doren said.

She said the man just snatched her purse and ran behind the businesses, taking with him all of her personal ids, credit cards and cash.

It was such an up-close encounter, Doren believes she would recognize the suspect if she saw him again.

Surveillance cameras at a nearby business could also help identify the suspect. Before the robbery, he was seen casually walking through the parking lot. He did not pull a gun on his victim until he cleared the camera's view.

"I can't describe how much I wish he would be behind bars right now," Doren said she will not rest easy until then. "Because if he does it to me, he is going to keep doing it to other people," she added.

She believes the suspect lives in this area, because several people recognized him in the surveillance video.

If you know who he is call Oklahoma City Police Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
